Warm greetings and well wishes to JCI members, partners and friends from all over the world! It is my great pleasure to address you once again from JCI World Headquarters in St. Louis as we finish the third quarter of the year.
This has been a very full summer of exciting events that have propelled us forward in JCI’s Mission and Vision.
I am so grateful for the support and hard work of JCI members on every level who are contributing to the success of completing the 2015 JCI Plan of Action and therefore the Strategic Plan. We have made great progress in this year and it is thanks to your dedication and commitment to creating positive change. We have plans in place for how to ensure that we complete the targets within this year.
I know that many National Organizations are continuing to have celebrations of the 100th Anniversary this fall during your National Conventions and other events. I hope that many of you will also be planning events in your local communities for the release of JCI’s “What’s in a Movement?” Documentary. In honor and recognition of the founding of the JCI Movement, there will be local screenings around the world the week of October 13, 2015. We are greatly looking forward to this opportunity to share with our communities the story of impact that JCI has had now for 100 years. The documentary will be available for download soon.
Of course, you all know that in just a few short weeks, delegates from over 100 countries will gather in Kanazawa, Japan for what is sure to be a dynamic and exciting week of inspiration, training, decision-making and of course celebrations of the 100th Anniversary. We look forward to seeing many of you there for an unforgettable week.
Thank you for your passion and commitment to sustainable impact; with this strong force of active citizens, we will surely continue to make positive change. You have my sincere appreciation. Keep smiling and commit, connect and care for the future of JCI and our world as we celebrate 100 years of impact in 2015.
